The proposed improvements along Carnegie Avenue will include:

• Full and partial depth pavement repairs as needed, and complete asphalt resurfacing.

• New sidewalk, ADA-compliant curb ramps and drive aprons as necessary.

• Replacement of an existing 8” water main with a 12” water main from East 79th Street to Stearns Road.

• Replacement of existing catch basins as needed.

• Signal upgrades at East 83rd Street, East 90th Street, East 96th Street, East 100th Street, Stokes Boulevard, Stearns Road, MLK Jr. Drive and MLK Jr. Drive/Cedar Avenue.

• Existing signals at East 79th Street, East 86th Street, East 102nd Street and East 105th Street will not need upgrades.

• Providing Thermoplastic Pavement Striping for durability and upgrading road signs as necessary.

• High Visibility Ladder Style Crosswalks will be replicated along the corridor.

• Low Mow tree lawns will be added in many locations.
