The proposed improvements along Carnegie Avenue will include:

Full and partial depth pavement repairs as needed, and complete asphalt resurfacing.

New sidewalk, ADA-compliant curb ramps and drive aprons as necessary.

Replacement of an existing 8” water main with a 12” water main from East 79th Street to Stearns Road.

Replacement of existing catch basins as needed.

Signal upgrades at East 83rd Street, East 90th Street, East 96th Street, East 100th Street, Stokes Boulevard, Stearns Road, MLK Jr. Drive and MLK Jr. Drive/Cedar Avenue.

Existing signals at East 79th Street, East 86th Street, East 102nd Street and East 105th Street will not need upgrades.

Providing Thermoplastic Pavement Striping for durability and upgrading road signs as necessary.

High Visibility Ladder Style Crosswalks will be replicated along the corridor.

Low Mow tree lawns will be added in many locations.
