INTERSECTION RECONSTRUCTION
While this project will improve the roadway condition along Carnegie Avenue, the intersections of Stokes Boulevard and De Forest Road will be reconstructed to improve overall safety and operations.
Stokes Boulevard
The proposed improvements for Stokes Boulevard will include:

Narrowed lanes

Shorter existing crossings and additional crossings where they currently do not exist to improve pedestrian mobility and safety

Reconfigured intersection angles to improve lines-of-sight and lower vehicle turning speeds​

De Forest Road
